Oceanar are Kushdim that were designed to help the Cimdi control the oceanic currents. Originally shaped by the Ganas, they over time ascended into the oceanic currents themselves. Yet, while having vast power over the currents and tides, they exercise none of itm, the reasons locked away in an unascended body deep at the bottom of the ocean.

Oceanar do not control the ocean, but only make sure that it runs smoothly, rhythmically. It is believed by some that they were converted by the Jindelas, for those who believe they exist.

While mortal, it is unknown how long the Oceanar live, or how they reproduce. The only key to their mortality are currents that have mysteriously become doldrums, although whether or not an Oceanar was present or not was unknown.
