Ashtar is not god-like, she IS a god. She has been ordered energy for so long that there are no traces of Ascension, if it happened at all. Due to her, Ashtaron is always lighted, and from Yardhon, appears as a shifting mass of sunlight in place of the Yarmil sun.

 

She was summoned by the Jindi, to balance out Kavar. She gave Yardhon daturnal life, complex trees, and the Ashtari: the Amet, the Chorna, and the Hanja.
