Stso are large snakes. Although they have no arms or legs, they are covered in thousands of grasping tentacles, giving them an extremely alien look. They have long forked tongues that are seperated so far down so as to appear as two seperate tongues.

They are pitch black, and very fast. They can spit venom, and their tentacles can throw rocks or other projectiles. Being cold-blooded, they can expand or contract their scales for cooling and heating purposes, respectively.

Stso are the only Ashtari/Kavari that are not humanoid.

Sytal

Although sentient and extremely intelligent in their base form, they have a species-wide addiction to Sytal, a type of addictive fungi stimulant that grows in deep forests and swamps. This fungus decimates their lifespan (5 years, Dalos 50 years), and severely reduces their intelligence and sentience. With it, however, their senses are more acute, and they have no need of sleep.

The country of Stson, on the northern end of Remt is one of the few places in the world where Stso are free of Sytal addiction, and live more out in the open.

Anyone that has large stashes of Sytal basically controls the Stso.

Dalos

Stso Dalos are very intelligent and five times the size of the ordinary Stso. They are crucial in the reproductive process, and outside of it rule Stso colonies.
